Outlaws National Whipkey are 2022 5-Alarm Classic Champs

Once again congratulations to these young ladies on winning the 5 alarm classic in Orrville this weekend. They continually amaze us in what they do and accomplish from grades to the diamond to growth, maturity, leadership as teammates!! The sky is the limit for these 10 girls!! So we just wrapped up the meat of our schedule for the summer with 5 tournaments in a row. As one of our sister team coachs had said “let the big dogs eat” we did just that!! The girls went 30-3-1 winning 4 of the 5 tournaments, pretty consistent which is what we preach!! Now to this past weekend.

Our leading hitters on the weekend were Cali, Syd, Natalie, and Makayla all hitting well over 400. Plus multiple other girls with multiple extra base hits. As a team we finished with 11 doubles and 11 triples on the weekend!! Syd, Cali, Natalia leading the pack with triples and Syd, Jenna, Makayla, Cali leading the pack with doubles!!

Pitching Syd, Dani, Makayla, and Makenna combined for a .194 Era, only giving up 15 hits, 9 walks, and 55 strikeouts against 136 batters. Dani didn’t give up a walk in 10 inn. Syd, Dani, Makenna didn’t give up a run either. Makayla only gave up 1 run while leading us in innings in the circle this weekend going 12 innings.

Some personal accolades, for Cali joining the double 100 club by going over 100 hits and 100 rbi’s on the season.

Syd for going over 100 rbi’s in the season, also joining the double 100 club. Syd also pitched a perfect game in pool play and a no hitter in the semifinals.
