We started out in pool play sluggish all day and even though we ended up getting the #1 seed in our pool, it just didn’t seem like things were gonna go our way this weekend!! But I have learned with this group to never under estimate them, they came out Sunday and rattled off 4 wins in a row against some good solid teams including the semis and championship going into ITB and walking them off!! These girls were down 7-0 in the ship and seemed out of gas but they came all the way back and as they say the rest is history!! I gotta say that these girls have showed us time after time that regardless of the score they will not lay down and quit, they will battle til the end!! Usually the championship games are low scoring but both teams hit the crap out of the ball all over the field and was a very exciting and great game to watch, let alone be a part of!! Hats off to Indiana Shockwaves 09 Fox on a great weekend!!
Shoutout to our leading hitters, all hitting over 400 all weekend Natalie, Syd, Natalia, Cali, Kalyn. With Several girls having multiple hits and clutch hits during bracket play as well!!
Our pitchers were very solid this weekend only allowing 5 walks and striking out 60 in 7 games!! Efficiency!

#1 Sydney Gonglik went over 200 strikeouts this weekend and also had 3 OTF homeruns.
#11 Cali Leichliter had 4 OTF homeruns this weekend, including the walk off homerun in the championship.
